Amari Alexander is an American jazz drummer, educator, and touring musician. A graduate of the University of North Texas Jazz Studies program, Amari was mentored by Ed Soph, Quincy Davis, Scott Tixier, and Phillip Dizack, and has studied in masterclasses with leading artists including Eric Harland, Obed Calvaire, Shai Maestro, Avishai Cohen, Chucho Valdés, Esperanza Spalding, and Kurt Elling. Predominantly working in jazz, Amari is also an enthusiastic drum teacher and has toured with King Howe throughout Australia and the United States.
Henry Ivie-Gardner is a guitarist, composer, producer, and recent graduate from University of Oregon in jazz studies. He has collaborated with musicians such as Nicole McCabe, Telemakus, and Machado Mijiga as well as many others, releasing two singles entitled “breathwork” and “sun rinse” which you can find on all streaming platforms under his name.
Ivie-Gardner strives to offer a unique and sincere voice to the scene both as a guitarist and as a composer, exploring his musical identity through a lens that is loving and honest.
Jake Chaffee is a bassist, visual artist, and ambient music producer based in Eugene, OR. With roots in Southern California and Texas, they have performed widely as a freelance musician and released several projects under the name JEC. Known for their immersive ambient livestreams and a joyful, expressive stage presence, Jake blends technical skill with a deep love of musical exploration.
JEC's most recent project is titled "three days and." and features tracks from previous livestreams as well as come produced for the EP itself.
